I have a 2000 RT regular cab. I got headers, and high flow exhaust the rest of the way, and a Superchips programmer. I love this truck to death and one my favorite things is the incredible torque and throttle response. I've noticed that most people who hot rod this truck get the Mopar M-1 single plane intake manifold. I would like to buy this to help the high end power, but I'm nervous that it will hurt my low end thrust.

dont bother

Save your money on the M-1 and put it towards a set of 1.7 Roller Rockers. You will be glad you did.

1.7 roller rockers are good and id do them first. after that def do the M1 because it is a great mod and i was able to feel a big difference in power with no torque loss and possible torque gain. i have the B&G M1 flash however so my trucks computer is optimized for that manifold. im not sure how well ur superchips will respond to it. by the way, the 1.7 roller rockers improved my quarter mile by 2 tenths and the M1 by 3 tenths at the same track with similar weather.

If you go with the M1 you will extend you powerband higher into the rpm range. Thus you will lose some low end yet the truck will pull much harder from about 2400-4800 rpm. The 1.7 rockers will increase your valve lift giving you increased low end and about 5hp max on stock heads and manifold. So all in all its just a matter of where you want power and how much. Most of us R/T'ers spend time trying to compromise as much as possible hp is fun but the trucks weigh 4000+ lbs and require a healthy amount of torque to get them moving.

on the stock PCM u may lose torque with the M1. i had my M1 flash done before the manifold. when i put the manifold on it was only easier to do even longer burnouts then before so i noticed a torque increase. i had the 1.7 rockers already though. but basically low end was a little stronger, midrange was about the same, and top end was much better.

I hate to sound like such a rookie but I just bought my 2000 R/T a few months back and I've been told that the mods already done that is obvious is some sort of chip... DynoMax dumped exhaust... 2 inch drop... AirAid Intake System... and I think maybe some fuel injectors... So im just wondering where should I go from here... I've pushed the truck way past the 120 on the speedometer... So ill be honest I have no idea where Im sitting right now... What should I do?

stock speed limiter is set at 115 from the factory. dont see you doing over 120 without a pcm change sooooo either have speedo checked/calibrated or find out if it already has mopar or other pcm upgrade orrrrr dont lie. jk
