 Subject: how strong is the 4.7?

We are trying to piece together a custom turbo setup for a 2000 dodge dakota 4.7 auto. How strong is the engine? I obviously want to turbo for more power but this has to be streetable. In stock form, how much PSI can the engine handle? Where are the weak spots of the engine? pistons, gaskets, rods?

need to talk to Duner in Phoenix Arizona. He has built a high 11 Second Turbo Charged Club Cab 4.7L 5 Speed with 12 Lbs of boost on all stock internals. Everything was OK till th BOV stuck and it went 31 lbs of boost and bent some connecting rods and things. He run AVgas on 12 lbs of boost, and pump gas on 9 I think.
Here is a pic of most of his parts
He may get mad for me posting the pic, if he does I'll remove it. You really need to talk to him about it.
