I just signed the papers! I bought a 2000 Dakota Sport EXT with the 4.7 Magnum V8. Very excited! I pick it up on Tues. It has 68,000KM's (I'm in Canada)and is in great shape! Stupid question, but how can I tell what gears, rear end etc are in this truck? As well, were there any known issues with the 2000 recalls etc?? Thanks! cant wait to pick it up!!!

for the gears, etc... check the sticker on the back of the glovebos door. to see if your truck has any unresolved recalls go to www.dodge.com. there is a place there to check using the last 8 digits of your vin. hope this helps.
oh forgot to mention. your upper balljoints are now warrantied for 10yrs/100,000 miles according to the letter i got from DC for my '00 QC.
