How do you remove the windshield wiper arms? I want to change the washer fluid nozzles (originals keep freezing up with -50deg wash fluid). Also, has anyone ever solved the high pitched dry bearing noise from the 4.7? I have a 2001 reg cab with a 5 spd standard. Fan clutch, tension & idle pulley, belt and alternator have all been changed with no affect.

To remove the wiper arms (assuming it did not change from previous years), look at the rear edge (the edge nearest the glass) of the wiper arm near the pivot. You should see the very tip of a small clip under the arm. Raise the wiper arm and slide this clip outward. At this point, you should be able to release the wiper arm and it should rest on the clip without going back to the glass. With the arm in this position, wiggle the arm outward from the pivot till it comes off.
Be carefull when reinstalling to put it back where it was or you could end up with a wiper arm that goes too far to the bottom or to the side of the windshield instead of splitting the difference. You might even consider marking the glass with a dry erase marker before removing the wiper arm.

In response to spray nozzels freezing up try a bug guard one that has an extreme lip at the top it will deflect enough wind up and over the hood they will not freeze. I used to have the same prob. Went on a trip with my cousin his did not freeze only difference was he had a bug guard. So, I installed one and cruised across I-90 in -20deg and had no prob with freezing even at 90mph.
