Message: What vehicle do you have?
If you have only one upstream, it is between the cat and the y-pipe.
If you have 2, locate the y-pipe, and trace it back to each exhaust manifold. They should be easy to find because they are a regular maintenace item on most vehicles. They are also the only thing on your exhaust system that have wires coming from them.
