I have a 99 5.2 5 speed Dak with flowmaster 1-2, Sick50MM TB, FIPK, relocated IATand 180 T-stat. I replaced my stock injectors with the yellow top 19# D5B injectors per the recomendation of a lot of people on this site last spring, since then I got better idling and a little better fuel economy, but no better performance and a lot of pinging when hot. I spoke to Bruce at Five-0 and he said my stock injectors were 21# and that was the cause of my pinging. I purchased the type-III Bosch 22.5 units and installed them last Saturday.
PERFORMANCE IS INCREDIBLE, what a difference, way more responsive, tons more top end, and so far the same millage (17mpg).
I cannot say firm enough DO NOT USE 19# injectors, I don't know who started that trend(BERND?) but he is WRONG!!!!!
