Like I said 1.9 60' kinda hard to grab if your mods are just intake exhaust and DOT tires???

yep....

he's got the exhaust worked on, some aftermarket intake (not sure which) and a pair of DOT's for the back. A five speed with DOT's is not hard to get 1.9's... i imagine it's a 3500 rpm launch for him to do that.

Yes I'll more than likely be there when the gates open. I like getting early starts, especially since I have to drive 2 hours to get there. So you know who you are looking for, here is a pic of my truck I took a minute ago.

Here is a Motor I'm building for my '75 Duster. Should get the Duster into the 10s.

See you Saturday.

Mucho disapointing. The track didn't open because it misted rain about 11:45 that morning and the owner siad it was to cool and humid to get the track prepped. I drove up there and was at the gate around 1:39 PM and was behind a poor guy that had trailered a car all the way from Midland, TX, 5 hours away. I waited for Mike and Jeramy to arrive. I already had my 'DOT' tires on ready to go. They pulled up about 2:15 and we talked awhile. I did disclose my ET (14.51@94) and few mods to him, then gave Mike and Jeramy a ride in my slow azz 4.7L OHC 2 CAM Club Cab. It would have been fun, Jeramy got some video from inside my truck, which I will host if they can get it off the camera. They are good kids, with a lot to learn. I'm proud they didn't chicken out like so many youngsters would have done. Hell even Mikes' mom came with him to see him get squashed.

We will get together in better weather down here in San Antonio and Bar-B-Q at my house and then go to San Antonio Raceway Park and run them. We aint done yet. Try to make it a nice Texas Dak Get-To-Gether.

Old Fool, isn't your truck the 4.7L with dual exhaust and glasspaks? I have a sound clip (somewhere) of a 4.7L set up like that, it sounds WICKED! it might be your truck for all I know! It sounds like it's recorded in a garage, because the sound kinda echos a bit...

lakewoods traction bars.

We really do need to meet down in San
Antonio....some time soon :)

p.s.
he also has taken off his clutch fan, and
just runing his factory electric fan, i am going
to do that today or tomorrow. I want to see
how much pep it will give me

It was nice to meet Old Fool, really cool

It may be my truck. I recorded it on my Garage computer and had to turn the truck around to get it pointed back into the garage. Makes it a bit loud since it does echo bad.
