With the advent of roller rockers and lightweight alloys, as well as the work of Ray Barton, the Hemi can now turn 8,000+ rpm while maintaining valvetrain stability (it's only real weakness in the past). It would be interesting to see a new Hemi at Indy.

I think we've jumped off topic a little. does anyone know of a dakota hemi, or how to do it?
also a statement was made earlier about GM owning Mazda. I distinctly remember Mazda belonging to MotorCraft.

Hotrodlane.com can help you put a 5.7 in a Dak, but $$$. You're right about the Ford/Mazda connection, the Mazda p/u is a rebadged Ranger.
