I have a 2002 dakota R/T and i want more power to both tires because my "limited slip" doesnt work right. posting your experience with the powertrax no-slip or other brands would help me greatly. im tired of peg legging around.

Well...I hope I can help a little...My friend Jeremy just bought an Auburn Trac Lock unit and It has worked great infact....DC Motorsports said that it would be on top market and always sells. They use this unit in all there performance vehicles. Powertrax is another good one but I havent heard much about them.

I am going to put Auburn Track Lock unit in my dakota later on down the road because they are a good company and make great posi units!!

I've got a PowerTrax No-Slip unit in the rear axle of my '00 Dak. Installed it in about 3 hours. Traction is excellent. Installs with simple hand tools. On the downside there is wheel hop(mild though) while accelerating through tight turns and a bit more tire wear. For the traction it provides I'll gladly live with the downside effects.

By the way, if you're familiar with diff work it should take about 1.5 hours to install. I took 3 hours because I'm only a shadetree mechanic(If that) and I went slow to make sure I didn't make any mistakes.
