HA - yeah it was 4 years. Thanks for reminding me. I haven't changed the oil since all this happened. So, I guess its been 7 months since I changed it last. I'll have to do that again. But you know, the motor is still running real strong after I fixed that rocker.

Hey jdeme177, before you go all out and pull the head why don't you just try and pull the rocker cover off and take a look in there. You may have thrown an intake rocker. I still had compression because I lost the exhaust rocker. If you loose an intake rocker then you'll have nothing to compress. I don't think that 72K miles is that much on this motor. It seems pretty sturdy. I've got more than that and I beat the piss out of it and don't change its oil too often.

I am having a problem with a misfire on the #8 cylinder. The dealer tried telling me it was just idoling funny due to cold oil or cold transmision fluid. I found that funny considering that it would start acting up after driving it for 15-20 min. So again I am sitting at home with no use of my truck, waiting for the dealer to blow more smoke up my a@@. I wish they would hurry up and fix the problem cause it is still a new truck,'04 with 11,000 miles. I just hope that the problem can be fixed.
