Message: Anybody run into this, 2001 4.7L 5spd RC Dakota electronic transfercase won't engage. Actually the switch on the dash does nothing, the lights aren't even on. All fuses checked and good/changed. Bad switch maybe? Also could the motor be taken off and a manual shift lever put in, do away with the electric completely?
