i dont have a dakota but i have a 77 dodge power wagon that has a 318 in it. i was wondering if any of you know how the mbrp mufflers would sound on it???(true duals, no cats) i currently have flowmasters and want something that no one else around me has. will the mbrp be as loud as the flowmsters or quieter???

alot quieter??? as anyone tried the edelbrock rpm mufflers??? i am looking for something that is polished stainless steel and is around as loud as the flowmaster's i currently have.

I tried dynomax super turbo and flowmaster 50 delta flow on my dak(4.7) before going with MBRP. My buddy has a 5.2 dak with flowmaster original 40, his is louder than mine, but a lot of in cab drone. Search this site , there's a couple of clips/videos of the MBRP on a 4.7 and a 5.9 I think, might give you an idea.

What is the difference between a true-dual system with and without cats? Is it a sound issue? A power issue? Anything taken away with cats? Thanks.
