There was a small blurb about them in popular science back in October.

What makes them better than the Bosch plugs with FOUR ground electrodes?

Do not use too "hot" of a plug. IE platinums, our motors have a fairly high compression ratio with factory knock sensors and any advantage of using platinums is pretty much nil. I'm having to run Iridium's (supercharged).

No knock sensor on 4.7 unless HO. Compression is not all that high, especially for aluminum heads.

Lead, follow, or get out of the way

2000 4.7 has knock sensors.... non HO. Mine did anyway. I beliveve our compressoin is 9.1:1. Which is not real high compared to race motors but pretty high for a stock v8. Kowalski: what would aluminum heads have to do with it?? good at getting rid of heat?? Also, i had two knock sensors on my motor, one on each side. The kennebell kit came with two new ones to replace them.

I just put some Champion Truck Plugs in my 5.2 and it runs 100 percent better. The pinging has dissapeared.

I believe the 4.7 CR is 9.3:1, the HO 4.7 is 9.7:1. I've used Bosch Platinum 4418's in my '01 4.7 for 35K now, and they run perfect. The most noticeable difference is the smoother idle compared to the stock Champions. With HO cams, Flowmaster 70 duals, homebrew K&N intake, and "true" 68mm TB, I need to run at least 3-4 gallons of 93 octane on top of the 87 octane in 22 gallons to prevent pinging on hills/ under load. But, my Dak just turned 100k miles last week, too!
