I recently purchased a hypertech programmer used, off ebay. When I tried it in my 2000 Dakota r/t it could not read my trucks calibration. I contacted hypertech and they informed me that my vehicle's computer had been updated, and that is why the hypertech would not read. They said I could send them the programmer and the papers regarding the upgrade and they could update the hypertech. However, I purcahsed my truck used so I don't have the papers I can not think of any way to get them, so I want to try and sell the programmer. I would like to get at least $200 dollars for it. #50005 it is for 2000 Dodge trucks and suvs with the 5.2 or 5.9 engine types. And it is a hyper- tech power programmer 3.

Good luck getting alot of useful help from Hypertech. When I talked to their service rep. he was horrible he mumbled, and was not at all helpful. That is why I sent it to Hypertech not knowing that I needed paper work from when my comp. was upgraded. The guy that called me back was a little more helpful, but the first guy was like talking to a rock. I am not in a big hurry or anything to sell it so take your time, however, it would be nice to have the money for Christmas. I am sure you know how that goes!
