hi everyone i just wanted to share my new track times from this past weekend in case any of u would be interested. I have a 2002 R/T regular cab. mods are: K&N cold air, F&B 50mm TB, M1 2bbl manifold, JBA 8mm wires, autolite 3923 plugs, jet 180* thermo, B&G M1 flash, gibson headers, JBA downpipes (removed precats), removed third cat and single 3" dynomax ultraflow, no tailpipe, APS valvebody, full street trim at 3850lbs not including me at 152 so it was 4002lbs. It was 58 degrees outside at englishtown, new jersey. i got a 14.20 at 97.7mph quarter mile with a 2.29 60ft. on stock bald RSA's. had to baby it off the line. oh and i raced against a new neon SRT-4 and beat him. he got a 14.6 with a pretty decent start. and all the brand new mustang GT's were getting mid 14's to 15's in the quarter except the highly modded ones.

Congrats on your times Joey! I also ran a new best recently in the 1/8 mile. My '99 R/T ran a 9.1 @ 78 mph in full street trim (no weight reduction and full tire pressure). I raced a against an 04 Cobra which ran a 7.6 @ 92, which mean he spanked me good. Oh well.

good time Eli. yea its great to see individual mods improve the truck little by little. i saw a half second improvement in the quarter from replacing the 2.5" flowmaster with a 3" dynomax, adding the M1 manifold, and doin the valvebody. seems like a good improvement for 3 mods but those 3 mods added up to about 1,200 bucks which is a lot for half a second improvement i think. maybe not lol i donno.

Yup, it cost money for lower track times but boy is it worth it! There is nothing like seeing a few tenths off your previous times to put a smile on your face. A hole in your pocket but a smile on your face! lol
