Does anyone have the scoop on why there are so many different fuel injector part numbers for the 4.7L engine? I know the HO engine had different injectors but, starting in 2001 Jeep started using PN 53032145AA. This PN is valid from 2001-2004. Dodge also used this part but, only until 2003, in 2004 they switched to PN 53032704AA then 53032704AB. What's the difference between these injectors?

My guess would be that they are using different suppliers. If a manufucturer changes a supplier for a part , they will change the part number. That way they can track if they are having trouble with a particular one. Dradee suggested you go to FiveO. I second that suggestion. Those guys are good and will have all the answers you need.
