 Subject: Help! 94 4.7 V8 Engine Boggs

I recently acquired a 94 V8 Dakota which I love, but all the sudden, when i hold speed at about 2300 rpm or when i start moving from a stop i boggs down and has no power. I dosen't always happen but is starting to get worse, Can anyone suggest what might be the problum? Could I only need to chage the plugs?

you have a 5.2 318
first step is check the plugs, the replace if needed, after that replace plug wires, dist cap and rotor if equiped
after that and it still dogs give us a more detailed update and go from there
