Steam was coming out from under my hood and my engine was overheating - so I pulled over to take a look.
There's a black tube that goes from the radiator to the manifold(?) that is interrupted about in the middle with a hard plastic(?) connector/coupler into which the radiator cap screws.
This coupler completely broke.
I don't know what this part is called or where to find one...
Can someone help?????

Sorry - I have a 5.9L V-8...
I pulled the part out and walked over to the nearest auto-parts store and showed it to him (when I got stranded yesterday, the part store in the vicinity didn't know what the part was when I described it to them), he recognized it right away and when he named it, I had a V8 (drink) moment.
The part name is "upper radiator hose" - doh!
Fortunately, it isn't one of those "have to get it at the dealership" parts, AND it isn't going to cost me an arm and a leg!

place2learn. If you are asking about the upper radiator hose the dealer part# is 52028810ac and the price in laredo tx. anyway is 35.20 and it comes with a new cap installed. I do recomend going with the dealer, on that part anyway because, I recently had to replace mine, and when I walked in to autozone and ask for the upper hose with the radiator cap on it they didnt know what I was talking about
