 Subject: 6 to 5 lug?

I have a gen II dakota, I was wondering if it was possable to make it 5 lug without wheel adapters... but yeah, I was wondering about getting the bolt pattern from a gen I dakota, you know without taking the entire rear out of one? If so what's needed and how hard would it be?

You can change the front lug pattern by just changing the rotors out with some from a 1990 Dakota. As for the rears the cheapest way would be to go the salvage yard and get the rear axles and brake drums from a 1990 also. Now that will only work if you have a 8 1/4 (10 bolt) rear.

Pretty much the same thing. Buy new hubs and rotors for the front and replace the rear axel. The only other option is to use adapters.

with a 6 lug bolt pattern 6x4.5
so i can make them into 5 lug bolt pattern for a
set of 22''ins wheels that came off a 2004 dodge

O have a 1997 dodge dakota v8 2wd.trying
to figure out how to go from 6 lug to 5
lug in the front 5/4-1/2.for weld pro
stars.Don't really know if 1987-1990 will
really work.do not want to use wheel
spacers.can any one please help me
out.I'm pulling my hair out. And no one
