I have an 02' 5.9 R/T and it has a bit of hesitation off idol and than takes off. It will also sometimes pop if you stomp on the gas? ant help is appreciated

it;'s common on an r/t with m1 intake manifold..sometimes cured by going to dealer and having fuel synch set to zero.
more than likely you need a tune up...brass cap and rotor every 10,000 miles dude...plugs and wires good for a bit longer.

my r/t does the same thing since i installed the M1. it may be ur fuel rail spacers if u didnt grind them down enough. i know mine are still a little too long so i have to grind them down a little more so that the injectors are all the way in the hole.

ditto, also some have tried relocating map sensor hose to one of the larger ports lower on the m1...and said it helped. did'nt help mine.

I don't even have an m1 intake yet and it does this I have 1.7 RR's, airaid intake, and gibson cat back. I think it started doing this more since the 1.7's were put in I'm not sure. I havent changed the cap and rotor yet and have 26,780 miles on my truck may be thats it ? help

The only thing done to my truck is a flowmaster exhaust and the thing wont idle smooth and has major hesitation when you stomp the pedal but smooths out at higher rpm.

Cam timing sounds retarded. Changing rocker arm ratio affects valvetrain timing. Degree the camshaft, then re-synch the dist to the cam
