 Subject: dipstick for 4,7l engine

is there any that has a 4.7l engine that actual get 6 quarts of oil in there dakota? if so, could you measure the dipstick from the top end of the safe area to the bottom end of the dipstick and measure from the bottom end of the dipstick to the to the top end of the dipstick and post it on here.

03, 4.7 L: Takes mine exactly 6 quarts...although I'll put 6 in and it reads 1/2 quart low and after a couple of days driving it will read full. Go figure. The dipstick is 2 3/4" from top of safe reading to bottom of dipstick. The overall is 30 1/2" from tip to the bottom of the yellow handle. The yellow handle goes in another 1".
