I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who responds to this board with constructive input. I have an 00 4.7 CC and have had a nastly rattle for the last couple of months everytime I accelerated from a dead stop. Under a separate posting I got a lot of advice with different things to look at (spark ping, etc.). Well, based on some recent advice from people on this board, I finally found the problem. Once of the caps on my rear u-joint was cracked and the bearings inside were ground into powder. I replaced it this weekend and my truck is the best it's been in a long while. With more advice I got on this board, I did it myself and saved a lot of money. Just wanted to say thanks!!
