stay away from dual exhaust, it'll kill your torque and make it hard to get off the line. if anything I'd suggest to bump it up to the R/T exhaust style, its larger in diameter but still enough to give a decent backpressure. I'd suggest doing as much internet searching as possible, theres always tons of cheapie mods to be done.... adjust the TPS tp .7v, 180 thermostat, relocate the IAT to the intake tube, cold air intake, larger throttle body are always a healthy start. check out the dakotart.com sites, even though you have the 5.2 and not the 5.9, your engine is basically the same setup...
Oh, yeah, and what ever you do, think ahead, and plan it out, things will flow much better for the process, and better gains will be made if the things you do work to complement each other.
