Message:
Just put in a power dyne sc in my 99 318 and the belt slip's like crazy when I get on it real quick and also starts to squeak around 3500rpm+.

I followed the belt diagram and tighten the belt
down as much as possible with the belt tensioner

Also, how important is it to install the fuel line?

Did you buy a new tensioner??? I think they're fairly cheap, the old one could just need replacing. As for the fuel line, did it come with the charger?? If so i would put it on but i don't know what it would be for. check all your pulleys for "crap" that could be in the grooves. And last but not least call powerdyne and makes sure they shipped you the right belt. Good luck and have fun......
