 Subject: Clicking Pinging Noises

6500 miles on my 04 RC and today the truck started making alot of clicking and pinging noises that lasted for about 5 minutes after I shut the truck off. Never heard it before. They're coming from under the entire length of the truck. Is this normal? I tried doing a search for it but couldn't find anything.

Usually just the exhaust cooling off, the metal shrinking back down. If it just started doing it, could be your cat getting hotter from either you driving harder or it needs replaced. But most likely just the exhaust.
