I've got 16K on my DAK and am thinking about changing the trans. and diff. lube to Amsoil synthetic. Has anyone had to use the friction modifier w/Amsoil 2000 75W-90 gear lube in a LSD? Has anyone noticed much MPG improvement with the Amsoil stuff? I'm getting from 16 to 17.5 per fillup and check it each time. Also, I have only 1 cat on my exhaust and no pre-cats; is this a decent flowing system? Many thanks for any help.
2003 CC, 4/7 eng., 545RFE, 3.55 LSD.

I changed my 545rfe and diffs (02 QC AWD) last fall to Amsoil tranny fluid and diff lube. No problems, no milage improvement, and no friction modifier (yes it is LSD).
