 Subject: Old Small Block Manifolds

I heard a few days ago about some old dodge small block manifolds outperforming any headers outthere, and being the top choice for dodge/chysler racers.... Anyone know about any truth to this or some info on the manifolds?

Legend has it that the 340HP manifolds were header-quality in their output, but this has been disproven on the dyno. They are really good, especially in torque production, but the rare Magnum 1992-93 2 1/8 inch inside diameter manifolds are marginally better overall. For ultimate HP, headers are still tops.
