Hey, all. I have a 4.7L manual tranny Dak, and the ECU basically needs rebuilding. Has anyone dealt with repair-and-return services at all? Would you recommend any? Also, if you wouldn't recommend one, where would be a good place to get a replacement ECU at a good price. I know "good price" and "ECU" don't always go together, but let me know. Thanks in advance.

Hello? I'm on foot these days, 'cause the ECU went south. Any help sure would be a relief to the feet.

Is this what most of us are calling a PCM (power control module) ? If so, I got one a year or so ago from carparts.com for $80 for my '00 4.7. Older ones for other Daks were even cheaper.
