I put Bosch platinum plugs in my Dakota and my milage dropped from about 18 to 15. Has anyone else had this problem?

what motor do you have?
I get 13mpg in my 5.2l 4x4 with unknow plugs, and will be switching them out this weekend for some 3923s. Probaly going to go with a .45 or .50 gap. not sure yet
