hey everyone, i have a 2 post type plug hanging by my transfercase on my 98 4x4 dak, and was wondering if anyone knew what it goes to. I have cut out my muffler and it has a y pipe in place of it. I got to thinking if it was some kind of a sensor to the muffler or not. If you don't mind, take a gander under you truck and see if you can tell me where this wire goes. it is a 2 post male end that snaps into the other end (where ever it is)Thanks

Do your backup lights work? You know, the white lights at the rear of the vehicle that come on when you put it in reverse? Usually this plug is a female style that plugs into a switch on the transmission but, check your lights just to be sure.
