 Subject: MSD-6 wiring ?s for R/T

had a few questions for wiring my new MSD-6A. I haven't got started yet, but thought I would get a clear cut plan of what to do before I start.
Any other parts/wiring needed besides what is supplied with the MSD-6A (#6200)?
Power & Ground wiring are easy...
Do I need to wire in the switch wire (small red)?
I assume I splice the coil wires (black & orange) into the stock wiring (black/grey & green/red) to the stock coil.
Black/grey is ground and green/red is +?
Trigger wires:
Do I use the white wire or purple/green wiring?
My guess is that I would use the purple/green wiring and run it to the three-wire loom running to the base of the distributor. What do I splice to?
Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated
