Message: what is the normal cooling line pressure for a 44RE tranny. Also if anyone knows which adaptor kit I need to hook up a Hayden tranny cooler (female top line connector for rad fitting) please let me know. The supplied one is too small. Thx

Message: Did you ever get an answer to this? I'm in the exact same situation. And to confirm - is the top line on the radiator the RETURN line?

 Thanks,

Message: No I didn't. But I did get the cooler installed OK. On my truck the top line is the return. To verify, simply run the engine when cold for a couple of minutes while shifting from reverse to drive. Shut it off and feel the lines from under the truck. The coolest one is return
