Message:
I would like to purchase the 408 stroker kit from KRC sometime in the future as one of my first mods. How much work would be involved to install this kit, I want to have someone do it for me but I don't want to get swindled. Has anyone installed this kit or can anyone give some feedback?

Hey Bill

I emailed Marty about doing a cam install for me along with some other stuff. He hasn't emailed me back, you think you could let him know he has email. I would appreciate it.

Unfortunately I live in BC Canada, no where near to any of these R/T performance outlets. I just want to know if the kit can be installed on an otherwise stock engine. I don't remember where KRC is located but if its in Washington or Oregon then I might be able to make the trip.

We're in Florida. By kits, I assume you're referring to our stroker kits - crank, pistons, rods, etc. We have mild to wild kits and you can install one in an otherwise stock setup. Our RV 408 is a nice package.

You will need to pull your motor. You will need to have the block clearanced for the stroker crank. Find a reputable machine shop near you to do the work and we can send you everything you need.

Well I'm a big fan of rough idles and lopey sounding engines, so hopefully there is a 408 stroker "kit" for me. Yes the "kit" I'm refering to is just the parts for the setup, I have been looking for a good machine shop around here for some time.
