Ralphie, at least spell the address right if you're gonna keep trolling. www.s10forum.com without any dashes is the real address, and I checked, and I saw nothing but good things said about the dakota so maybe there's an S10 forum you been to that I havent.

aj,
They voided my warranty because I performed internal engine maintenance myself (changed out the oil pump). There was only 8K left on it anyway.

They banned me from the dealership because I insisted that they refund me the money I paid for the new oil pump. I told them I wasn't leaving until they gave me my money back and paid me the $60.00/hr they would have charged me if they had replaced the oil pump thamselves. I also demanded that they pay for the car I had to rent while they had my trcuk in the shop. They refused to do all of the above. I said I wasn't leaving until they paid me back. That's when they threatened to call the police. I called their bluff and stayed and that's when they called the police. If I go back to that dealership they can have me arrested.

Let me say that I did have a really bad attitude towards these people before I went in there with the bad oil pump in my hands. I'm sure if I was a 5'7" 125ld blond and had a big smile on my face they would have refunded me my money.

I'd have had their sorry butts in court. Tell me something isn't wrong, then I go and replace it and the problem is gone, I'd be DAMNED if I wouldn't take them to court.

Ralphie, the S10 does have a HUGE advantage over the Dakota. It's a nice trick I learned while out in the country. If you lower the tailgate on a Dakota, the S10 can fit inside! So come on boy, LOAD UP!
