Hey guys,I have a 2002quad cab 4.7 25,000 miles and the usual problems with the warped rotors.Dealership cut them once already and put new pads on at 11,000 miles.Now they are warped again,I want to get some good aftermarket rotors and pads that last a little longer than the junk thats on my truck now.Maybe someone can recommend some good brakes. I saw a few people talk about power slot rotors and hawk pads,any help would be great!!! Thanks!!!!

I installed Raybestos BruteStop rotors and thier Superstop pads a couple of weeks ago. I seasoned the brakes after installation and put them to the test the following week. Towed the boat to the lake and went on a family vacation through some pretty steep and squirrely roads through some back country passes in CA. 3 weeks and 3000 miles later they are still smooth as glass. If these were the stockers, or the el'cheapo's from Autozone they would probably be warped. Crossing my fingers that they last for a couple of years.
I used the Powerstop (drilled) rotors on another vehicle and they were realy nice, haven't used the Powerslots though. The Raybestos Brutestops are drilled and slotted, drilled to cool better and slotted to keep the pads clean,,, I guess.

I do know the rotors on this 04 are much bigger than on the 02. Both trucks are 4x4 CC.
