 Subject: 4.7 dodge dakota sport 4x4 questions

I just bought a 2000 dakota sport 4x4. I was just wondering if there were a lot of problems with the ball & U joints cuz they dont have any grease fittings. Or if there is a history of other problems with this particular truck. Can anyone help me out?

Ball joints fail notoriously early and often. universal joints not as much of a problem.
