Does anyone know the stock 1/4 mile and 60ft times for a 2002 Dodge Ram with a 5.9 in it? I am looking at getting one and I am looking for some help. Thanks

Is it 4wd/2wd? Quad cab/reg cab? My dad used to own a 2001 4wd quad cab with a 5.9, and it was pretty slow. Not sure about the exact times, though.

It is a 2wd Reg Cab on 20's. Your dad's was the old model though. This is the new body style and redesigned engine.

If it is a 5.9, it's the same motor as the previous generation. Anyways since it's a single cab it shouldn't be too bad. Rough estimate: 0-60: 9.0-9.2, 1/4 mile: 16.2-16.4 May be little off, but I'm just making a close guess. Besides, if it turns out to be faster, you'll just be happier.

Lol yeah your right stephen. I heard on a Ram website that it would be able to pull high 15's @ around 90mph. Sounds pretty good to me...

Yeah, that sounds right. Plus manufacturer estimates are usually a little modest. After typing that response, I realized that seemed a little slow, but like I said, didn't wanna get your hopes up too high, lol. I really should have known better though, because I used to work at a Dodge dealer and they had a rc 2wd 5.9 with 20's. I remember now that after driving it, I found it was quicker than I thought it'd be. Later the same day I drove our Silverado SS (they were also a GM dealer), and I must say, I was NOT impressed. Would much rather have my r/t over one of those pieces of junk.
