 Subject: power wagon driveline in dakota

got a 87 4x4 v6 and was wondering if u could put a 318 with a np435 4 speed with a hyh cluch setup out of a newer fullsize ,say 80's style and use the full size axles also to fab up? the power wagon is a 79 that was being parted out.thank u..

Was thinking about this one myself. Ive got a 76 powerwagon witha D60 rear, fulltime 44 front its also a 318 but auto 727. Shouldnt be impossible to get the front a couple of fabbed mounts for the shackles, and the rear appears to have the same spring pearch width. That 60 may bolt in the rear have to take a few more measurements. Onlt problem is I dont want to swap in a 203T case. Not real excited about the heavy fulltime unit, but a 208 out of the later trucks prefferably a 3/4T with the fixed yoke would be pretty cool. I've got all the parts except the 208.
