Unplug it. Then the clutch physically cannot engage unless something is wrong.

It must not get HOT where you live?

Here in Pheonix that would be insane!

BTW. After removing it and putting in a shorter belt I doubt you could tell the difference. The pulley on that thing can't be that heavy or hard to turn.

plus if I drop the A/C I drop 5 or 10 lbs or whatever that piece of $%#* wieghs. Then i'll be sweating my as off ,losing 5 or 10 lbs.SWEET!!!!!!
I've put a stage 2 chip in it, a cold air intake, throttle body spacer, headers, dual flowmaster, drilled slotted rotors,4 edelbrock shocks,3" drop, rollpan, sniper hood, billet grille, clears front n back. oh yeah, accels plugs and wires. Good stuff!!Swear to god, no lie I was sitting at a red light and this mustang Gt pulls up revin it .Smoked that $#!% off the line no problem, all bark no bite!! When he finally caught up at the next light he didn't have $#!% to say accept "nice truck" and I siad "you know it bitch!!"anyways I'm not even close to being halfway done with the stuff I want to do to this truck. Not enough time or money yet!!back to the A/C I still wanna get rid of that $#!%.

i pulled my a/c a couple years back. I bought a belt for a non a/c dakota and it didnt work... so i kept trading it in until i got the right size.

i'll see if i can find what it was that worked for mine.

Well, I wouldn't do it, but loosing the 10 lbs compressor and sweating your a$$ off will do more for you than that throttle body spacer which = 0
