i have a 93 dak cc with the 318. and she stalls! usually only in reverse (because when in drive the momentum of the wheels keep the engin turning over)
-it only stalls when im doin low rpm, like say 600 and i take my foot off the gas, the tach just drops and it stalls. it sucks driving during rushhour cause thats when it stalls most going short distances. (like if i give it a spurt of gas it will go then sputter and stall)
-the engin starts righ up no problem, and idols fine (dosent miss or sound like its cutting out)
-has 255,000k on it
-never stalls when im doin mid or high rpm. and has lots of power in the mid and high range it dosent miss either
- i cant keep a steady rpm around 400-600 thats when its missing or cutting out it sounds like. the tach just moves up and down up and down and then just stalls
what could this be?
clogged injector?
-tps?
-choke?
i dont think its my fuel pump beuause i just changed my fuel lever sensor / pump / filter a few months ago
any help would be great
