 Subject: Will Durango PCM damage my Dakota?

eBay got me again. There was a PCM from a '00 Durango 5.9 (mine's a 4x4 QC) that I bid on and won for $60...more by accident than by choice. I'd emailed the Seller and they said the Dur/Dak PCM's are NOT interchangeable-I left the bid in and decided to try it anyway.....well, I have PROOF that it does! And Dang Me if it doesn't work better! It's almost like it's the MOPAR PCM - shifts down quicker; got rid of the "boggin" I had @ about 3000RPM; revs higher +500rpm?. Pulls harder from 60-85. My intention was to get a back-up PCM for when I flash my stock one w/the B&G flash-now I may not need it!
Also, my stock PCM had the "Authorized Software Update" sticker-the Durango's did NOT. I'm thinking the stock got Death Flashed (I bought it used) even though the code numbers on the sticker didn't match what I've seen on this forum.
BUT WILL IT SCREW UP MY DAK??????????
