 Subject: 5.2 Oil Capacity and auto tranny adjust

1) I've got a 98 5.2 with the tow package from dodge and was wondering if anyone knows how many quarts this system takes ?
Also
2) I'm looking to change the oil in my tranny as well and wanted to know how you go about adjusting the "bands" for the torque converter.

There were two separate and distinct VIN codes for 1998.
#1) 1998 DODGE TRUCKS DAKOTA 5.2L 8-cyl VIN Code T CNG
#2) 1998 DODGE TRUCKS DAKOTA 5.2L 8-cyl VIN Code Y
For #1 ... VIN Code T CNG

A Haynes manual will tell you exactly how to adjust the bands.
