 Subject: Transmission Troubles

I have been having some trouble with my automatic transmission. About once every 2 weeks or so as I am driving I feel my truck hesitate when upshifting and then it jumps into gear. Shortly afterward the engine light comes on (0700 code). But afterward it shifts fine and the light goes off in a day or so. Then it will do it all over again about 2 weeks later. Someone told me it could be because I have the bed loaded down for better traction this winter. This never happened before adding the weight but I only had it about a month before adding the weight (I bought it used 52,000 miles). Anyone else ever had this problem? Does it sound serious? I figured if it was serious the light would stay on. I was hoping I could wait until spring and take the weight out and see if it happens again. Or should I seek immediate help? Any suggestions?
