Hey everyone, I think im going to finally mod my 04 dak. I have a Volant Cold Air intake, Gibson Catback 3in single exit, and HO cams picked out (no HO intake Manifold, I guess the 04 dak already has it so correct me if im wrong). Are these good mods to start with? are there any other mods that might be better? I plan on putting a supercharger on it around august. what will these mods do to my warranty? Im looking at building something for low end, the upper end isnt really that important to me, and i would like to keep some fuel economy i get around 20-21 highway right now and 16 in city, 13.5 if i get heavy on it :) its a stock 4.7 5spd auto running 3.55's. ANy help or suggestions would be great. Thanks

Josh

The word on the Volant intakes at the forum I frequent is very bad. There have been dyno runs that show the volant intakes to decrease power! You're right with the exhaust though, that's pretty much the best you can do for low end.

Ramin - are you sure the exhaust would be the best you can do for low end ? I would think the HO cams will do more for low end than the exhaust.

i disagree on the voolant intake!! there is no difference between one brand or another. what makes the voolant and k&n better than the rest is they are made of abs plastic. the abs plastic keeps the air much colder than the other aluminum crap intakes. the voolant will be well worth the money. unless you wanna spend $300 extra dollars and just get the cowl hood with ram air kit.
