 Subject: Problems w/ 4.7 Automatic Transfer Case

I have an '01 SLT Dak with the 4.7 V8 and an automatic transfer case. Since buying the vehcile in June of '01 i have had to put it into the dealor 9 times. 2 of those time were for unrelated issues. the other 7 were problems with my Transfer Case. It would shift into 4H by itself, It would go out and i'd be stuck in whatever gear i was last in, or it would stay on but just wouldnt shift. After replaceing just about everything around it, the dealorship finally replaced the computer this week. It's still covered under an exteded warranty but it's getting rediculous. Has anybody else had this problem? Is there anything I can do about it? I'm just wondering if this is a manufacturer defect or if i just got bad luck with this truck or maybe the dealor's mechanics aren't fixing it correctly.

I havent heard of that problem If they have worked on it 7 times and not fixed it I would ask them to replace it.
