If I were you, I would not get the K&N, I would get the Volant intake for the 4.7L. The key to an air intake is less restriction of air to your motor, well the K&N for the 4.7 just takes the place of your air box, and keeps your original air hat. The Volant Air Intake looks like air would move through the system to your motor much quicker than anything I've seen. If you don't get the Volant Air Intake, take a look at the 360 intakz or whatever... there's would be prolly second on my list. It's your call. I've done a lot of research on our motors, and like I said before, the volant intake looks the "less restrictive" of all.

I have the volant for a 2001, which I mounted my AIT
sensor in, so it will work on my 04.... its great, I noticed a
difference, the only thing is its boomy as hell between the
3-4500 range, its not a big deal to me, it sounds great, but
makes the door rattle a bit..
