I reciently replaced my upstream O2 sensor and replaced stock spark plugs with Bosch Pl. While driving a long distance i heard a buzzing sound coming from what seemed like the center of the dash. Few days later I got a diagnostic code, pulled it and it said multiple cylinder mis-fire. After finding this out i relized that the sound was coming from exactly the area where the distributor is located. does it sound like i should replace distributor, cap, rotor? any other ideas?

Thanks

replace the cap and wires,

the newer ignitions fire two cyl. at the same time,so if one wire or cap is going to ground/misfiring then you,ll have two cyl. misfiring.

The thing that really makes me think that it is the distributor is the buzzing sound that i am hearing. The vehicle runs fine other than that.

Thanks
