 Subject: tranny skips: needs help

hi, i have a 2001 5.9 dakota 4X4. just a month ago i hit 60K miles. and the tranny started skipping roughly. it mostly happens during 2-3 gear shift uphills. but if i turn off the over-drive, everything shifts fine. has this happenned to anyone else? thanks.

i,m not sure what skipping is.but if its like chattering.the o/d lock-up or the torque converter lock=up could be the cause.
if the trans has,nt been service in the past 12mo ,change the filter and fluid and add a bottle of lucus trans cond this will help with lock-up,
also a transgo shift kit will eliminent this.
