Hi People,

Just wanted to let you guys know, that the heater core found on the Dakota's and Durango's are juke.

I am getting mine replaced, it started leaking after 50,000 miles. My Durango is a 2000 5.9 4x4.

I went to the A/C shop to have a look, he showed me the difference between the OEM and the Modine. The Modine was much thicker and would he told me would last the life of the car.

So, If you are planning to keep your truck for a while get a modine, radiator or heater core.

Just my 2 cents.

Oh, dealer wanted $675 to replace the heater core, i asked them if they are gonna use oem parts, they said, we can't give you a warranty if we don't. Told them to piss off, don't need another piece of dog poo heater core.

A/C shop is charged me $500. Still a lot, but, i know the part they are replacing is gonna last.
