Subject: Tranny code 1757 need some advise
IP: Logged

Message:
Hey guys I need some help. I have the Transgo shift kit in my 99 R/T and just yesterday I installed the Mopar 2400 stall converter to go with it, they both work great together I highly recommend them.
Anyway today the check engine light went on and I diagnosed it to be code 1757 or (governor pressure not within 15-20 psi at idle). The truck seems to be working and running properly but I hate having that light blaring in my face. Has anyone else ever had this code and how did you solve the problem? These 46RE’s are starting to piss me off.

i cant really give any help with it but i just a comment on the situation.

Both times i took the valve body out of my tranny (same shift kit), i would get the same code for a week or two... off and on. Then it would just go away. It kinda made be scratch my head... i thought that it had something to do with my tranny being excited it got new fluid???

Thanks man,
Ya I know its weird. The truck runs fine so I guess I'll just drive around and see what happens.
One more thing, you have the Transgo I have another post on the general board about a problem down shifting from 2nd to 1st. At low speeds about 20mph the tranny wants to lock-up if I manually downshift. Any ideas? I can usually figure these problems out but this one got me.
